Default Differences Cdn and US M38s

I was talking with a fellow in the US and he asked me "what is the difference(s) between the American M38 and the Canadian M38 ??" and to be honest outside of a lamp on the rear frame I do not have a clue. My understanding is when Ford of Canada went on strike, M38s where shipped complete from US stocks versus the assembled by Ford/Canada kits from the US. So that would say the vehicles are essentially one and the same. So I ask here, and maybe it has already been addressed, what are the differences ?? Anya nd all insight is welcome.
