Default Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the woods ...

... the Finns strike again !

Some info about another Finnish auction:

18th of September 2007 Lievestuore Depot in Tampere is auctioning artillery. It seems they have 16 old field guns and howitzers and four limbers in this auction. Auction starts 10 AM. Audience can see the artillery pieces in Lievestuore and photograph them 30th of August and 5th of September between 9AM and 2PM. They are also shown starting 9AM in day of the auction. List of what they have in that auction translated:

1. 75 K 17 field gun (US "75 mm Field Gun M1917 (British)" aka "Ord. QF 75 mm Converted M-01")
2. 76 K 02 RVP field gun (Russian 76 mm cannon model 1902 / "3-djujmovaja pushka obr. 1902") (RVP = with old iron wheels)
3. 76 K 02 RVP field gun
4. 76 K 02 RVP field gun
5. 76 K 02 SKP field gun (SKP = with rubber tires)
6. 76 K 02-30 SKP field gun (Soviet 76 mm cannon model 1902, modernised 1930 / "76,2 mm Pushka obr. 1902/30 g. L/30")
7. 76 K 02-30/40 field gun (Soviet 76 mm cannon model 1902, modernised 1930, with L/40 barrel / "76,2 mm Pushka obr. 1902/30 g. L/40")
8. 76 K 36 field gun (Soviet 76 mm cannon model 1936 / F-22, model 1936)
9. 105 K 29 heavy field gun (Polish 105 mm cannon model 1929 / "105 mm armata wz. 29")
10. 105 H 33 light howitzer (German 105 mm howitzer model 1933 / "10,5 cm leFH 18")
11. 105 H 37-10 light howitzer (Finnish post-WW2 howitzer, basically combination of 105-mm howitzer barrel and gun carriage of Russian 122-mm howitzer)
12. 120 K 78-31 heavy field gun (Polish 120 mm cannon model 1878 modified in 1931 / "120 mm armata wz. 78/10/31")
13. 122 H 10-30 light howitzer (Soviet 122 mm howitzer model 1910-1930 / "122 mm gaubitsa obr. 1910/30 g.")
14. 122 H 38 light howitzer (Soviet 122 mm howitzer model 1938 / "122 mm gaubitsa obr. 1938 g" / M-30)
15. 152 H 09-30 heavy howitzer (Soviet 122 mm howitzer model 1909 modernised 1930 / "6 dm krepostnaja gaubitsa sistemy Schneidera obr. 1909/1930 g." / "152 mm gaubitsa obr. 1909/30 g.")
16. 152 H 38 heavy howitzer (Soviet 152 mm howitzer model 1938 / "152 mm Gaubitsa obr. 1938 g." / M-10)
17. Limber for 76 K 02 RVP
18. Limber 76 K 02 RVP
19. Limber mixed
20. Limber mixed

Some of these, like the Polish heavy field guns, are really rare. All artillery pieces sold in auction must be deactivated before they are handed over to buyers. Buyers with winning bid have to pay 500 euros immediately and rest of the price before the item is handed over to them.

Sigh ...

Here's official auction information (also in English), loads of pics of the auction, but no photos of the artillery, just the 4 A34 Comet Mk I Model B,4 Sturmgeschütz III Ausführung G and the 14
FV 4101 Charioteer Mk VII Model B

Default Thanks BMills ...

... I already posted the same information a few days ago on the armour section of MLU but it looks good here under artillery anyway.
