The ground anchor pins with the forged holes in them were much easier to use (remove from terra firma) was my practical experience. Those ones (pictured)could break at the welds.

Lynn!Thanks for your comments! I don't think I will ever use them by hitting them on the ground. They are to accommodate empty spaces in the truck!

There is a small mountain of them, all new in their wooden crates, at the local milsurp scrapyard.
