Default No.11 Wireless Set

Stumbled across this original No.11 Wireless set today.

Has anyone got any photos that show it's installation in the Australian Bren Gun Carrier,

Default Canadian Carrier

While not Australian, here is an 11 set base on Mk.1* Canadian Carrier. These were most often removed for space or to allow for mounting a 19 set, shock mount and adapter. Note how the armour was removed, most likely to allow for a better photograph of the wireless mount....

Looks like they not only removed the armour for a better view, but also removed the sparkplugs so as to have a measure for the cumalative rainfall in that area.

Oh, the humanity!

Naw... it's just that spark plugs have pointy ends and are uncomfortable to sit on as you're admiring your 11-set base.
