A short BC winter drive
Hi All,
Thought some of you might enjoy watching this little video I just came across of someones drive from the town about 20 miles from here, to here ... a winter drive ... bear in mind that we currently have a lot more snow and that snow isn't finished happening yet ... video runs about 2 minutes and gives you a look at some of the scenery and roads http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=n4AVpCuLSgA Here's another drive, this time from Banff to here ... 2 minutes-ish. Banff North of here ... dig the caribou on the road. Always have to watch for them ..... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=X4z2_jGlNO4 A longer drive from here to Creston, about an hour from here. Great piano palying to listen on the drive about 8 minutes ... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QWI6yvFMd6Y Enjoy (I hope ) |

Wow ... loved the one to Creston. Makes me really miss all the pleasure
in having a vehicle and being on the road (not to mention missing my piano!) ... what I don't miss is remembering working and having to drive winter roads much like that 6 days a week (which the biggest joys of my life next to my kids and music is driving and being on the road for work or otherwise) and when the big semi's would pass my windshield would be a solid sheet of brown slush with not a bit of clear space to see the road ... very un-nerving while driving, especially when vehicles behind or in front YIKES ... I think I must have had angels looking out for me, or something I enjoy posting these videos her for you folks to see some of the area in which I live these days ... I've seen videos (mostly Keith's) showing locations/areas in Oz. It's nice to be able to see some of the scenery where others live (winter or otherwise ... I hope you Aussie's enjoy the snow in the ones I just posted ) |
