Exclamation need information on military generator

Hello i have a 1968 5kw diesel generator 3 phase 120/208/240.
I think the company that was using it was Godfrey aerospace.
I was wondering if some one may have information (operator manual or repair manual)

It has a N.S.N. no 6115-21-912-0410.

Pretty sure I will have manuals, check with me in a couple days when I get home. Off to Topeka for the MVPA convention right now.

I found 2 copies of the engine parts manual (C-36-803/MY-000 (Cdn numner) or TM9-2805-258-24P American)). I am positive I have the maintenance manual and the parts manual for the generator. I'll look some more later.

If you want one or both copies of this parts manual for the engine, you can have them for $10 ea mailed. Same goes for anyone else interested in one, they are up for grabs.

Looking for them made me realize I have WAY too many manuals. I think it has come time to start offering some up for sale.

By the way, I note you mentioned Godfrey aerospace in your initial post. They often get the contract to overhaul various military equipment, and not necessarily aircraft related. Likely you are looking at their rebuild tag.

As I PM'd Michel, I only just realized that while the generator is 1968, the engine is not. In the 90s Canada repowered a lot of these from their original gas engines over to diesel. The manual I had is for the gas engine. The generator portion would remain the same though.

That well may be where Godfrey aerospace came in. They likely were the company that did the re-powering.

The repowering was not overall successful. These days we use the US oattern TQG (tactical quiet generator) 5 and 10k generators.
