Here's a Cab 12 C8 in Manitoba that looks quite complete. Too bad it's not about 500 miles closer.

Default Brought it home... 1942 C8...

800cwt. missing the rims and tires. The jewel was still there which is always special. Box is marked Beathty BC411..."Battery Charging"???... The price on CMP's is going up in our central Canadian Province, a lot of intersted buyers pushed me up to $1800 Can. for this wreck.I will take this one thru restoration, so I guess I am looking for rims and rubber just like everyone else with a C8. I am glad I could hold this piece for Praire Command and keep it in Canada. Cheers Rob

Default Another pic...

Motorcycle tires out front just to get it on the trailer. I have restored a Cab 11 and this Cab 12 will be interesting. Cheers Rob

Default Very unusual.....

I am sure it would not be a sealed beam..... almost looks like the inside lens of the blackout cover which has a rotating half moon door and the long eyebrow.... the centre would have been covered by the pivoting bolt/wing nut arrangement.

May have been stripped out of an original blackout light.....

Whatever it is worth saving.....

Nice acquisition Rob...... few of those left..... now the search for the elusive tires is on.....!!!!

Bob
