Default Coil location

Try the front L/h side of engine on coil bracket, mounted off head studs.
The present position of yours looks farily close to the water pipe, is
this transfering heat to the coil??

Thanks for the heads up Andrew, hadnt thought of it picking up latent heat off the radiator pipe, will re mount and give it another crack.
