All you should have to do is look like a border raid and he'll be there. I don't promise what shape you'll be in afterwards.....
Or offer to drop off a Diamond T part or two as bait.

Default Tall ships in Halifax....

Joyce and I have decided to drop in Halifax for a photo shoot of the 56 tall ships visiting Halifax. They will sail out of Halifax harbour Monday July 20th and we will be dockside....somehwere.... taking pcitures as they sail out.....

Will then race to Sydney to see about 12 of them enter the Port of Louisbourg under gun fire.......as it will coincide with some large period reenactment..... I expect lots of noise and gun powder smoke.

Will get rid of the smoke smell by washing down some lobster with Keith's beer.

Will be driving through Oromocto and hope to spill a few beers with Wild Bill....

The unfortunate part is I will miss seeing Phil at the Weare military show..... first time in 7 years...

Alex.... if you have his number send me an email at home.

Default Early risers on the East Coast

Bob, I emailed you Bill's home phone number very early this am - even earlier than Alex - who apparently slept in today.

I look forward to hearing of the rest of your itinerary

Brian

Bob..
I don't have his phone number but Brian looked after it..
There are lots of places to photograph the tall ships..From the Dartmouth side looking at Halifax ..go to the Ferry terminal ..lots of parking and can see all of the Halifax waterfront from there '

It is right down town Dartmouth..From Halifax..go to the Historic properties and take a table at Saltys bar and grill..an out door restaurant that over hangs the harbour and has the best view of the Dartmouth side..It is right on Water Street in Halifax..
I would go and guide you but have an appointment with a new grand (?????) in Indianopolis the end of July..
Was going East(Home) until this popped up..You will have a blast..for any into give me a call.
Enjoy..
For the best place to stay in town try the Lord Nelson..You are right in the midst of things..across from the public Gardens..three blocks from the waterfront..all the shops and restaurants withing five blocks both ways..ten minute walk from Citadel Hill..One block from Pete's Fruitique..(On Dresden Row..where you can pick up deli lunches and take them with you to the public gardens..or to the waterfront..or Up the Citadel Hill or any other place..Don't forget to jump in the car and take in Point pleasant park..a great place to shoot ships is right off the break water from to the entrance of the harbour..
The tall ships will assemble in Bedford Basin..then sail through the narrows and down Halifax harbour..past McNabs Island..Point pleasant Park and out the harbour to the Atlantic..You want to be on the Breakwater at Point pleasant park when the ships leave..Get there early..
Have fun..
Been the...done that...

(Print this out and take it with you)

Hi Bob

We'll miss you and Joyce at Weare, but that's Ok if you send along some of the tall ships photos. I taught sailing at one time and enjoy seeing the tall ships under sail. Just came back from Baltimore where wee went aboard several ships including two sailing ships.

Cheers Phil

...One could assume that Sgt Majors sleep, but that would be to one's detriment...Please send my regards.
