Otter photos
I am looking for a good colour photo of the WWII Otter, ideally WWII but am prepared to use a good restoration. This is for the cover of an upcoming Weapons of War booklet.
At the same time, I could use additional black & white photos of Otters in the Canadian Army. Thnx, CLive

Hanno, That would be perfect! I often use modern restos for the covers and I don't think that I will have much choice for the Otter. Can you ask them to consider taking the photo in 'portrait' mode as opposed to 'landscape' and to try to have an outdoor setting with no people or buildings? If necessary I can Photoshop out a lot of things. Many thanks, Clive

Hanno,
Any luck in contacting the Otter owner? The Dutch example is the ideal one for the cover image. Let me know if you want me to make contact - all I would need is his e-mail addy. Thnx, Clive

Here is one of two Greek survivors, with desert camo, in a last year's parade.

Thanks Hanno,
I know that you have been busy with other issues and I appreciate the follow-up. I sent an e-mail to your contact and copied you, however, your ISP identifies my address as Spam and kicked it back. Hopefully your contact will respond. Cheers, Clive

C15AA Armoured Ambulance
Ed, thanks for posting that great photo.
It's nice to see the rare GM C15AA Armoured Ambulance, the first of the 2 pilot models, fortunately rescued and restored by John Marchant of the UK - (from Wheels & Tracks #17). Brian |

I received a CD today with a number of Otter photos, however, there was no name, note or return address and I have no idea who sent these. Please identify yourself so that I can acknowledge your contribution.
Thnx, Clive

Hi Les,
Send me your address via PM and I will get a copy out to you. At the same time I would be grateful if you rang up Bookworld Wholesale (purportedly my UK distributor) to let them know that you were looking for a copy. This may encourage them to start ordering new titles. "Drive to Victory" Vol. 1 is nearing completion. I have 2 booklets in the Wpns of War series as well as Mark Tonner's "The Churchill Tank and the Canadian Armoured Corps" and Rene Chartrand's "A Scarlet Coat - Uniforms of the British in the War of 1812" - all at the printers right now. Next is a 2-volume work on the Cdn Expeditionary Force and then "Drive to Victory". Cheers, Clive
