Default T17E1 Staghound INFO NEEDED!

I need a couple of generators and radiators for the Staghound set up.
Can anyone tell me:
1. Are the Staghound radiators the same radiators that are in the CCKW that usdes that GMC engine?
2. Are tires in size 14 X 20 available with ND tread or 'chevron'?
Gathering parts for a restoration and need info.

Anyone know Mr. Reg Hodgson's e-mail or telephne number - I have some questions about Stag restorations I would like to pose. Thanks!

Hello Dan,

1) Staghound radiators are not the same as the GMC CCKW ones. They are designed special for the Staghound and are larger.
They have a special inlet, outlet and filling connection.
Left and right are also different.
The overall dimensions from the Stag radiator are 685*550*92 mm (hight * width * thickness).
I have some photo's from them which I can sent you if you let me know your email adress.
My radiators were gone so I had two new ones made.
This job is not to difficult, the only time-consuming thing is to get the outlet pipes on the right spot at the right angle so they correspond with the oil cooler.
The outlet pipe is connected to the oil cooler by a very short (about 8 cm) hose, so there is not much play.

2) I have seen someone advertising on Milweb with 14.00x20 ND tyres, these should not be to difficult to obtain.
I have seen them in 12, 16 and 18 ply rating.
Don't use the 12 ply rating, these tyres are not sufficient for the load of nearly 3500 kg on each wheel.
The 16 and 18 ply are fine.
I never saw the 14x20 chevron type and I have also never seen them installed on Staghounds used in combat in WWII.

Best regards,

Marco
