The trailer featured on the attached photographs is being advertised a 22 cwt pre-war trailer.

Does anyone recognise the pattern and how original it is.
In some ways it looks like a cut down war-time 10 cwt trailer.

I have asked the owner what the plates which seem to be visible say.

Neil,

The Census number is nothing to go by, as it is from a group of numbers that were "not taken up".

Neil,

I don't think there ever was a 22-cwt trailer. I own a wartime 20-cwt trailer and its much larger than the one shown here. I even doubt it is a cut-down war-time 10 cwt trailer.

Hanno

The owner says that all the markings are original and were uncovered during the restoration.

I dont know enough about pre-war trailer types to comment further, but I would question if it is large enough or substantial enough to carry 22 cwt.
