Default Executive needed or last CMP Magazine will be Dec issue

Hello

Now that the latest issue of CMP has been mailed and has began
arriving at members doorsteps.

As stated in the magazine. If there is no functioning Executive by December, then the December issue of CMP will be my last as CMP Editor.

Peter has taken on the role of every Executive position other than CMP Editor and as stated by him quite a few months back, he intends on stepping down at the end of the year.

Unless we get members stepping up and volunteering for the Executive positions and actively being involved. I do not feel that it is fair for Peter or myself.

The ball is now in the hands of the membership to decide the fate of the OMVA and CMP Magazine.

If you wish to volunteer to fill an Executive position and to be active in it, (no dead wood) please feel free to contact Peter S.

Thank you

Eric

Default Follow up OMVA Executive

Hello

As stated in the original e-mail. I am looking for a functioning OMVA Executive by Dec. Dec is less than 1 month away.

John Tatham had stepped into the role of Vice President back in Sept.

I am not sure what is happening with the other positions, i know for a fact that there were members who volunteered. (Thank you)

As stated, if there is no functioning Executive, the next magazine will be my last.

Thanks

Eric

Default Nevertheless

The Spring, Summer and Fall meetings will carry on. I will shortly announce the date of the winter meeting in Acton.

Why Acton? (the hall is not cheap). They present a clean, set up room, ready to go with an available supply of tables and chairs for all.

Afterwards they break it down as required, clean the room and no Club staff stay behind (including me).

The old Georgetown Armoury has been offered as a change of venue.

I will look into it.

Thanks for hanging on.

Peter S

The Acton Legion hall is within a one hour carrier driving range of Brucedale.

What positions remain vacant causing you to bale out Eric?

I thought we had this issue licked?

I had offered with A.N.OTHER but was told it was all sorted.

Clarification please, anyone?

Default OMVA Executive

Hello Robin

I finally just received some clarrification myself.

Peter is staying on as President in addition to filling the Treasurers role.

John is Vice President.

We are still seeking a Membership coordinator.

Thanks

Eric

Although I cannot take on any role that requires coordination I have offered to be the Webmaster. Peter is aware of this and I will adhere to any schedule he sets.

So,

I am doing this publicly as that is the only way I can do this with transparency.

I have offered a number of times to be on the OMVA exec.

Eric are we still in business and if not they why has no one contacted me?

Over to the rest of you folks

Default Membership positions filled

Hello Robin

I am just the Editor of CMP Magazine, therefore i can't explain why nobody had gotten back to you.

I can tell you that we have just recently filled the position of the Membership Coordinator, Carolle Chartrand was kind enough to volunteer for this position a while ago.

This effectively completes the OMVA Executive.

Robin and any others who volunteered, i wish to thank you very much and i do apologize if you were never contacted.

Thank you

Eric

Hrmph

Obviously some here can only use the computer to sell things and not communicate / engage with others.

Look forward to your next issue Eric, as always

I will go back to living under my rock.
