Cmp tool box
I have been restoring a 1941 C15 Cab 12. I am about to start on the body as I have the chassis motor etc. finished. I have a box believe its a 1B1style as pictured. This is not my truck. I need to build a tool box and could copy this one belonging to a friend. Would my truck have come out with this type of tool box or a later on with spare tire in the middle? Any help would be appreciated even from Bob C HI Bob!

The pictured box is a 2B1 for late Cab 11s, all cab 12s, and early cab 13s and has the proper tool box for it. The 2B1 has the fold down sides and goes on the 15 cwt trucks. The 1B1 is for the 8 cwt trucks. These early trucks used the run flat tires so didn't have spares.

Okay, my box is the 2B1 so the pictured tool box would have been originally put on my truck. It looks fairly easy to manufacure.
