Hello.
I have these litte knobs all the way around my cargo bed for my C15A. I believe these are non original and a post war add on? The metal hooks I presume is original. just want to make sure befor I remove them and weld the holes up. So ..original or not? Svenn Last edited by Svenn Ryen; 14-02-13 at 21:37. |

Please do not remove the knobs. I am sure they are original, used to hold tarpaulin securing straps (rubber or leather with a round hole and slit to go around the knob). I'm sorry but I can't find photos right now to support this.

Great point on originality

Hi Hanno Great point on originality, I'd add don't clean of the weld splatter. When I was restoring the HUP it became clear that there must have been a pecking order in the welding assignments. If it was not going to show, it went to a new welder, if it was going to be something that showed or was critical it was done by an experienced welder. Cheers Phil
