Stuart registration numbers
Any known numbers, (or partials), for a Stuart V used early in Normandy by Canadian units?

Cdn Stuart WD numbers
Here are some numbers that I have come across over the years.
None from early Normandy though; the 27 CAR number is from a casualty report in August, the C Sqn numbers are from Tank States from July, and the 4 Cdn Armd Div numbers are from the tanks they brought to Normandy in late July. 27 CAR 231188 C Sqn (reinforcement Sqn for 2 Cdn Armd Bde) 231696 236272 231208 21 CAR 156445 236288 236303 22 CAR 236267 231232 231277 213704 213736 213739 231138 236300 156690 28 CAR 156437 213713 236279 236293 236307 236308 D Sqn (reinforcement Sqn for 4 Cdn Armd Div) 156458 231138 231222 231234 231269 236280 236288 236301 Tony Viste |

Tony, thanks for that list.
I'm actually looking to build a model from the 1st Hussars, so at least now I know what the number series might look like - just have to make sure I don't repeat any of the ones you have kindly provided. Actually, all markings will be a guesstimate, as the internet has not garnered any photos at all. regards, Jack |

Tony...
Do you have the relevant file numbers for the differing groups ? I also have additional material for some of the numbers that I will post in the future. Many thanks Roddy |
