Scott,

How accurate do you need the 2 and 4 gallon cans? I've bought one out of Canada on this forum before (a Canadian 2 gallon) and a friend in New Jersey turned up a Shell post war can for me, so now I have two of those. For faux Fllimsies he turned up some Olive Oil or whatever cans that will work for my display.

Where in Pennsylvania are you? I live in Charles Town, WV but have many good friends in Littlestown, Harrisburg, York Springs, Quarryville and well, lots of South East and Central PA.

Matt

Scott - I can possibly have some channels made & have them drop shipped from Lincoln NE ( its been a while so I'd have to get the current pricing). What size truck are you working on? My truck is a 8 cwt... I've got the smaller ones on it. The larger ones I made for a LRDG truck.

Chuck

Default Wonderful job on the channels.....

....sure looks good on the C8.......

what is that contraption sticking out of the tarp just behind the driver's door??

Are you making the channels from one piece or welded sections??? what gauge for the big one??

Cheers

Thanks, the field mod 9a antenna base is for the wireless in the back. The channels are one piece, folded. If I remember correctly, they're 12 gauge.

Little north for me. Though I did drive through that area to/from a model train show in Massachusetts last month. I hope to see your truck some time. Maybe the East Coast Military Vehicle Rally coming up in May in Hagerstown, MD?

i am a long way to getting a truck to a show. The project truck i bought more than a year ago from e-bay turned out to be a scammer and i was out 1000,00 plus i was strung along for a year. I have collected more of the fitting out stuff as i have truck parts. I hope to make some progress this summer.

Hi
what a great job well done,
I m just starting to fit out the old Ambulance,
just trying to get the details partly right as its all a compromise,
as the paint appears to have changed almost yearly.

best
Rupert
