Artom generator?

Had this query from a guy in QLD:

The query is about a [now known to be ex CMP 216], XR3753011, which would make it a 1941 Model out of say a C60L. It has a GM 839132 casting number.

the eng is direct coupled to a knife switch generator/welder(50volt 150 amp) branded ATOM ? and also powers some 32volt accessories on a trailer.Yes i guess the setup could be ex army maybe,or some one found an eng to couple to this old welder,even the brand Atom is a mystery but the whole thing looks original

Is this a wartime set-up or as I suspedct post-war with an added CMP replacement engine?
