Default Tank transporter question

Hi there

I haven't got the War Establishment to hand but does anyone know if the various squadrons of the Tank Delivery Regiment (the Elgin Regiment) had tank transporters on strength?

I've seen several photos of tanks being moved up the line but I've never seen a clear shot of the markings on the transporters. It would make sense, rather than to have to borrow one from an armoured brigade workshop or 65 Tank Transporter Company but maybe they did?

Steve

Default Probably not

Not sure about Canadians, but I assume they would follow British practice - where the Armoured delivery regiment was more concerned with preparing tanks and crews for front line use. Delivery was the responsibility of RASC Tank Transporter Companies.
