Default Need Info..2nd Div CCE???

Guys I just made a very large buy...WW1 and WW2 about 20 hats and caps
Officers boots Uniforms ect
One item I boiught is a Pith Helmet..named ect...but it has 2nd Div CCE under the name..I am thinking this maybe Boar War...but am unsure...it has a cloth patch on the side...dark blue with thin red then white in the centre...any ideas what CCE was or is?

Dean..
I was also a construction engineer..
I had a pith helmet issued to me when I was posted to Sardinia ,Italy in 1969..
So there are probably s few still kicking around..
Mine was of WW2 vintage but repainted..
I tried it on a few times but never wore it on base or as part of my day to day uniform..
Could have used it a time or two,but usually found shade in the mess when it got too hot..which was often..

Thanks Guys..the lid is dated 1914..and is now in a well know collectors possession.
