Default Christmas

At this time of year I would like to wish all you guys out there on MLU all the Best wishes of the season and the coming New Year. Because of all the killing and suffering since 1939 until this present day it appears nothing has really changed. My Christmas in 1939 was as a sea sick soldier on the Reino del Pacifico on my way overseas. We have a close member of our family stationed in Baghdad in an armored division, so what else is new? To you old timers that are left, here are a couple of documents that my Mother saved for me. The menu served me on board ship and a tissue thin paper Christmas card, (army issue) to send home. I guess these items will stir some old memories.
