Loyd Armour
Gents,
Does anyone have details of the lower hull side armour fitted to Loyd Carriers TTs (it was different on the TPC). The original drawing in Nigel Watsons 1st book show just one center panel mounted on the inside of the mild steel hull, that is behind the bogies. HOWEVER I have just been given some photos of a Loyd TT before it went off the the scrap yard a few years ago and it appears to have armour plate externally mounted on the lower hull. I suppose it could have been post war mods. Paul, Does your 2 Pdr TT have lower hull side armour?
