Default Canadian military webbing, usage thereof

Finding nowhere else to post this, here goes...

Let's assume a usage timeline of date of adoption from start to adoption of the next generation.

So:

P37 to P51 = 14 years

P51 to P64 = 13 years

P64 to P82 = 18 years

P82 to ??? = ?? years

My question is...did the usage of the P82 end with the adoption of the Load Bearing Vest (LBV)? Or did it end with the further adoption of the Tactical Vest (TV)?

Using an average of the above years-of-usage, median employment would be 15 years. That would put the end to P82 c. 1997.

Make sense?

P82 still in use? Reserves only?

I should have realized of course that there was some overlap of usage from one pattern to the next.

Thanks, again, Ed.

P82 is issued in basic training and is used until said soldier has been posted to their unit after all their trade training.

Hmmm...Seems to me that I've seen various crse candidates on SQ and DP trg at LFCTA TC Meaford doing their thing wearing TVs only (?)

Or are my eyes deceiving me in that I'm seeing what I want to see?

Default kit recovery

Many of us know from years of service, that QM is much less energetic recovering kit these days. I probably have a full set of '82 webbing with extras, and a TacVest. No one wanted a one-for-one return when it came time to give me the vest, but I did have to return my Jean Jacket Vest of Many Pockets, body armour and ballistic plates.

On the other hand, I did get a call to return my extra barrack boxes ...
