Default 60's vintage items or reproductions

Looking for Jerry-Cans (Do not have to be fill-able US 1950-70, water/gas) *Still looking*
Looking for Hayboxes (Mermite Cans for our US friends) *Acquired*
Looking for Ammo Cans (not blank/Dumby/training), *Still looking*
Wooden Ammo or other "supply" type crates not to heavy. *Acquired*

These would be used to create a "load" for a military Mule

I will attach a picture of a model with some thing like what I am looking for.

I prefer them to be In Ontario, as Postage on most of these would be huge
if your traveling to the area we can still look at items.

Thanks for every-one's help

PS Also looking for photos of same items with markings to help
with making same if unable to locate above items.

Thank-you!

(don't want it all, just some of it, thanks)

If you know anyone driving through Manitoba, I am not far off the transcanada and can get you as many of the metal jerry cans as you would ever want for very reasonable prices.

I've got some wooden US (I think) ammo boxes. Not sure what era. Couple of small ones and one big one. You can have them.

Jordan - Thank-you, will arrange to pick them up sometime!

Hans - I would like to share costs if you can get your friend to pick us up some cans.

Rob - I will work with Hans and we will see what we can come up with! Thank-you.

Vintage cans are easy to come by. I have bought lots and passed on many as well, usually they go for around $5 to $10 each at garage sales, flea markets etc. I am local and can see what I have for extras.
Also 7.62 or 5.56 ammo cans can be had at Princess auto or KW Surplus in Kitchener for about $20 each.
Fortunately for myself, I have a complete ensemble to outfit my mule when I get it done.
Al 1960's vintage, I have 3 mortar crates, several ammo cans, fuel cans, radio gear incl PRC25s, and a complete USMC uniform and web gear. Even have the Death Cards, Lucky strike cigs etc.
Just need to find an M16A1, M14, LAW or a blooper now...

I'll check with my buddy to see when he is passing through Manitoba next, and how much room he might have.

Where did you find the Lucky strikes?? Would love some of those (not to smoke, just for the helmet etc.)

Let me check and see how many packs I have. I purchased a large collection of VN items last year.

I have found a place with pictures you can cut out and form into a cigarette package
with the Lucky strike packaging on them, that way you do not have to crush a pack
of real ones in your helmet strap if you want one just for that, save the good ones for
the display table.
