Default Ford F8 - Drawing

Would anybody be in the position to provide me with a better drawing of the Ford F8?

Many thanks in advance.

I guess that it is rather difficult to find such drawing. Have started to do my own. Would anybody of you be so kind and give me advice, if the proportions fit mre or less? I took above "drawing" as a template an used some photos I found...

Hi Kuno, The obvious one is that it should have only 6 wheel nuts, not 8.
I will leave the rest to those that know.

The perspective on the box is throwing you off. The box is centered on the rear wheels. That centre vertical member on the narrow part of the box is on centre. The vertical piece between the windows is centered on the box too.

Thanks Lynn. 6 instead of 8 wheelnuts -that's really obvious. Guess that it was just too late last night...

Thanks, Clectrac.

My problem is that the photos I have (and as well above drawing) have somewhat a "fisheye" perspective.

Would you say that I should extend the loading bay towards the drivers compartment to the cost of the boxes between them? Means to make these various boxes narrower then?

Thankyou for creating the opportunity for me to contribute.
Do you find bren carrier wrecks in the desert? If so,do you have photos?
Are these images any help?

Here are some measurements (in inches) that should help.
wheelbase 101
box length 58
box depth 23
box side depth 9.5
front of door to back of cab 35
back of cab to front of bumper 74
dash to front of vent panel 27
back of cab depth 29
roof depth 24
locker width narrow part 12
locker width wide part 13
locker depth 37
outside diameter of wheel 15
If you need more just ask.

Many thanks for those measures, David. They will help a lot. But it will take some time until I can continue working on it - will be abroad for a short job assignment for two weeks...

Since my last post I have first been to
Libya, then
Algeria
Libya again
Angola
Libya again and finally
Tunisia

Now I have some days off to work on the drawings for our book project.

This is what I managed to do today:

There's a locker where you have the spare tire and the tire is mounted on the far side of it.

You are right, David.
In principle.
The particular vehicle I wanted to show was modified by the Germans (and used for general transport, not in the foreseeen W/T role). For this vehicle, the spare tire was in the position shown in my drawing.
