Engine is Hercules JXD. Definitely the remains of a Studebaker US6. In Australia, being worked to death in a logging camp was the fate of many CMPs, CCKWs and later on the Studebakers

#2 is definitely a Cab 12 Ford, and the engine as David says, is a Hercules 320 cubic inch Studebaker engine.
