Ford V8 clutch plate
My 95HP Ford flat head V8 engine has an 11 inch clutch.
The driven plate needs re-lining. Can anybody tell me the thickness of the friction lining on each side. My re-lining chap says he has often come across re-lined clutch plates for these engines, which have too thick a lining. Kind regards, Alastair F60S LAAT Ford Lynx I MkIII* |

My NOS 11” clutch plate (with some storage rust, errr, patina) has a total thickness of 10 mm. The lining is 3,5 mm thick.
