Default S-W Hand Crank Heater

I have obtained (arrives next week) Stewart-Warner Hand Crank Heater
mod# 796-a-1 On the internet, one is shown with a repair date 1951
The heater is to warm any engine in frigid temperatures, It is gas fired
and the amount of heat is regulated by the speed of hand cranking.
all my vehicles are arctic equipped, 1. Should this be in CMP display (ww2)
or alcan hwy/korea M37 display? 2. How common are these? I was told
that jeeps and command vehicles that carried the brass would have these avail.
My friend that gave it to me could not find any dates on the heater.
I need to make a info poster for display. thanks
