This one would take a little more effort, but it would be worth it.

That second one Kevin I tried and tried and tried to get the owner to let it go but alas my efforts were fruitless it is symptomatic of the "Hoarder Cult" i have it.... wont do anything with it...and you cant have it......

i hate these threads matey because i genuinely get irritated that historic machines like these can be allowed to decay in such a way

thats life it is all but an tool used and abused then cast aside when finished in years to come i bet there will be a forum for collectors of CVRT's used in various arenas and there will no doubt be a thread on scimitars found in play parks etc etc
hahaha

Aidan I am afraid i am a bit of a staunch believer of none pilfering of savable carriers hahahaha however the idea of cruising in with a combat recovery tractor and dragging the hull free from its tomb would be an idea hahahahaha. need to complete mine first.... will get her sortid then look for another to save.

Richard T10829,
That second carrier has recently appeared in the MVT's magazine, Windscreeen, and would appear to be now for sale ! All enquries have to be made in writing. If anyone wants the address, then PM me and I'll let you have the details from the mag. You never know your luck !

Keith

Smile

The one in the desert, a rust free Universal Mk II looks like a better deal. Both a little way away from home........probably both end up at Colin Jones's place
