Hello All,
If you enjoy watching YouTube videos of engine rebuilds here is one from Jim's Automotive Machine Shop building a V8 flat head. It is a father and son machine shop and they do small volume work - taking their time to do things. Old fashioned service. There are some earlier videos of them encountering problems and searching for solutions as well as machining the engine. Please click on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeXipxWBy6g accessed 18th of March 2025. The engine is identified as a 1951-ish 255 cubic inch Mercury Flathead V8 Kind regards Lionel
