New "Weapons of War" books from Service Publications

Service Publications has released two additional titles in the Weapons of War series;

"The WWII Jeep in Canadian Service" is a detailed examination of the ubiquitous "Car, 4x4, 5cwt". Following the format of the series the book consists of 24 pages of well-written, original text by Eric Booth, an owner of several jeeps and editor of the CMP Newsletter. The book is also illustrated with a number of never-seen-before photographs. Suggested retail price CDN$9.95

"The Armoured Autocar in Canadian Service" tells the fascinating story of Canada's Motor Machine Gun Corps and its unique fleet of armoured cars, manufactured by the Autocar company of Ardmore, Pennsylvania, of World War II. Written by Cameron Pulsifer, Senior Research Historian at the Canadian War Museum this book follows the acquisition and use of this early AFV within the context of the unit that used them. Illustrated with many new photos from a variety of archival sources. Suggested retail price CDN$9.95
