Default Is legislation coming to restrict military vehicle ownership in G.B.

I just saw a link on the ,"Sentimental Journey" site,http://www.sentimentaljourney.co.uk/
which stated that," the British Govt. plans to eradicate vintage and classic vehicle owning and driving." Is this true? Sounds too strange to be true,but.....

Been here before, see the thread I started:

Its not about vehicles, but that could be next indeed.

The link on that site re-directs to another site that has taken a cutting from elsewhere.

Very little of that data is accurate or indeed "official".

A better appraisal and more detailed accuracy is generally available from the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, this is a very large and professional organisation representing a significant majority of classic car, motorcycle and MV clubs here and in the EU. If anyone is on the ball, they will be. To quote, and note ". . . .ONE politician":

Good news from Europe.
Heard the one about the politicians wanting to get us off the road? Well perhaps it’s time to think again: the European Parliament has voted overwhelmingly in favour of an amendment to the EU Road Safety plan that supports the protection of the right to use historic vehicles.
