Hi Shayne,
I'm sure you'll have people jump in and tell you lots or point you in the right directions to find out more about your Dad's service. I'm hoping you find out a lot more about him too Family history, especially the history of close family thats hard to come by, is so awesome when knowledge starts filling the gaps where it should be ... good luck to you from me, someone with a lot of understanding and empathy for filling the most important and closest history knowledge gaps ... family.
