Default Now, it's my turn.....measurements!

Gentlemen: I purchased earlier this year a 1941 Chev. 15 cwt. It's in great shape, but in need of a little spit and polish, here and there. I am looking for 2 things at the moment for this unit: 1/ The bows on the rear box (2B1), I need to make a set of them, so I am looking for measurements for the steel pipe. 2/ The canvas....I've seen various photos with different configurations, windows/no windows, roll up backs and/or fronts. Is there one pattern or numerous ones for this year and model?
I plan on purchasing the canvas and making one here along with the other little canvas "bits" that go with a CMP (see Restoration Forum). And if enough interest is shown, I will make make additional pieces etc. Your input is greatly appreciated.

PS: I also purchased the brother to my 1943 HUP ZL, the 1944 HUP ZL.....one of which a certain Barry Churcher would know about!

Robert

Default One and the same....

Hi Gordon: Yes, these are one and the same. I haven't had a moment of time to research this that and the other thing. I've been drowning at work. The canvas/bows are something that I thought I"d plan for the fall/winter/spring months. Just basically collecting info for now.
Hope your keeping well. Will call you over the next few weeks...Robert
