Default Coe Hill

I was at Coe Hill today (Sunday), and there wasn’t a show. Asked at the store across the road and I was told that there had been talk of a show a couple of months ago, but they had heard nothing about it recently.

Default Coe Hill 2019

Paul, Chris and anyone else wondering or reading through this thread.
Although I did not attend the event personally, I have spoken with someone who did and can offer the following. Coe Hill did happen but due to a small turn-out, the event only happened on the Saturday. The OMVA backed the event by providing liability insurance but the event was solely organized by Dan McCaw. I’m uncertain as to whether Dan had any volunteer help with it. In another thread here on MLU (http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=30111), there was discussion about the event and the event was also announced in CMP Magazine #79 that was mailed out to members back in May.
The post/announcement at the start of this thread was “late” but the request to make the post/announcement was only made to us the day before. Coe Hill had been a great event in the past and it’s unfortunate that it was not as successful this time around. All is being said in good spirit and a Thanks goes out to Dan for making the effort.

Default Coe Hill

Thanks Terry, I was in Coe Hill on Sunday about lunch time. I thought that it was odd that the staff at the store had no knowledge of the event. Maybe next year will be a go, and I will be able to attend on the Saturday, I had a previous commitment for Saturday this year. My old Pontiac liked the nice drive and the weather was excellent. Put two hundred miles on her that day.
