Thanks for those pics Dirk. I was considering a C60X for my next CMP model, was it made with any other body or do I have to find a way to do those rounded corners? That looks a fantastic restoration considering the 'before' pics that I saw on your website. The C60 could be a candidate as well I suppose!

Default Name of Commander

On the subject of Normandy, myself and one of my Australian friends were in Courseulles on the 2nd June when we met a Canadian Army officer accompanied by two civilians. We were introduced to them and the older gentleman told us he was the commander of the Canadian forces that landed there. I cannot remember his name, so I hope somebody will be able to help me out.

Hello

I think I photographed most of your vehicles as well. I really enjoyed the D-Day Days down in Normandy.

Here's a selection of my pictures from D-Day 2004.

@ Richard

Wow, I didn't know that this is your vehicle. Excellent restored! The pictures taken with your Dingo are my bests from Normandy.

If you want them in higher resolution, just drop me your email-address.

Will you be at Beltring next weekend? I'll be there from Fri - Sun.

Greetings from Switzerland
Chris

Hi Chris,

Just to let you know the Dingo does not belong to me, I did some repair work on it, resprayed and painted all the signs and numbers on for a customer. Thank you for the compliment though.

I am sending you a Private Message with the owners email address as he would like a copy of the photo, thanks.

Richard

Dear Richard

Ooops, my fault. Will send the pictures to the owner and have just altered the owners name.

Thanx for telling me.

Smile Normandy 2004

And of course the highlight of our entire Normandy-tour - worth 3000+ km's of driving: BBQ with Geoff, Hanno and Sunray Minor. A very nice evening indeed!!!
