Norm will do a presentation at the War Museum on the 28th July about the 75th anniversary of Vimy Pilgrimage. Here is the infomation:

For Our Old Comrades, The Story & Ephemera of the Vimy Pilgrimage, 1936 by Norm Christie. To mark the 75th Anniversary of the great Vimy Pilgrimage, we are pleasedto announce the release of a new book by author and TV host Norm Christie, For Our Old Comrades, The Story & Ephemera of the Vimy Pilgrimage, 1936. In 1936 the largest armada of Canadians, outside the wars, set sail for France, for the unveiling of Canada's grand war memorial on Vimy Ridge. 6,200 Canadian veterans, war widows, Silver Cross mothers, participated inthis spectacular event in Europe, where they were celebrated by Royalty,and received as returning heroes. It was an epic adventure. Mr. Christie’s tells the story of the journey of Canadian Pilgrims back to France to witness the unveiling of the incredible Vimy Memorial, and documents the Pilgrim’s priceless mementos and souvenirs.
