New Guinea Dodge staff car
This looks like a TJ Richards ( Adelaide) bodied 41 Dodge staff car , in New Guinea , serving as a staff car for Gen Kenny . I spotted the RHD , and put 2 and 2 together . The mechanical and chassis componets came from Chrysler Canada, they used a 3 3/8" bore motor which is a few inches longer than the USA built car version. These 41 Dodges are actually Plymouths is disguise . They were re-badged as Dodge ... They mostly seemed to have gone into RAAF service ... the army prefered Fords and Chevs as staff cars it seems .
