My father was a keen Peter Dawson fan.

Can remember in the mid fifties him taking me to one of his last public shows.

Snuck into back and got his autograph for my dad, and remember him saying, shame you had not brought your Dad too.

Dad was impressed

Regards

Top Notch Sir !

It is not this revisit to bye gone musical days and the addition of which that makes our experience here an especially unique one ? Has it not always been in the soul of man to relish a catchy tune , with tempo rapidly bouncing , and the lyrics begging one to sing along ? Now it is time for a pint !

Oh what memories indeed. I used to have a 33 1/3 recording of his songs which included the one under discussion and The Road to Mandalay. During my recent downsizing I gave all my old recordings and books to my son if I am lucky maybe he can pull a CD for me.
