Another Veteran Gone

For those of you who may have known him, Vic Phillips of Conargo passed away on Monday the 1st of June. His funeral was held in Deniliquin on Saturday the 6th. He was 89 y.o.
Vic served for 4 years during ww2 with a construction unit in the Northern Territory, New Guinea and Borneo/ Labuan.
A high light in his life was going on the Back to the Track run in '95. He was involved in the construction and maintenance of the road that was being celebrated. He always took his album of wartime photographs with him to Corowa and was happy to show them to anyone interested.
