Default Thackeray washers?

Hi guys

Just serviced my brakes and am struggling to get hold of 4 x thackeray washers 5/16 bore.

They are the ones that hold the brake expanders loose onto the backing plate.

I have a good fastners supplyer in London but thackeray washers are a bit old hat.

Anybody got any sitting in a tin they don't want please let me know.

Many thanks

Barry

Barry,

I have been having difficulty locating Imperial sized ones recently, but have just traced a source who have a box of 500 5/16" for around £15. There must be smaller quantities available, it is a question of tracking them down.

Check out www.source-fixings.co.uk

Default Hardware

Also we have had good success with Allfix, very helpful on the phone, do everything in imperial and BA as well as metric and will ship small numbers.

Double coil washers are listed but not on the site yet.
