Default Late FGT 7B3 Body

Time to share with us my CMP.
A rare model, because Argentina was the destination of the few units manufactured.
A model always full of mysteries, especially because I have not yet found precise delivery dates or dataplates.
Since I have it, I have only tried to get the missing elements, it is in running order and I have fun taking small tours of the neighborhood.

It still retains modifications made by the Argentine army, such as the addition of those two small doors on each side.
As a fuel tank I use a jerrycan. I am working on cleaning each tank.

I have to refurbish the rear can holders, they have a lot of knocks, since there was no bumper, they were deformed..

The word “spectacular” has already been used, so I’ll say “fantastic!”

Great to finally see one of these rare FGTs restored and running. Well done preserving her

A very nice piece. In this country we have to be satisfied with the traditional slantback version.

What is it like for private ownership of cannons in your country? Is there a 25 pounder and limber in your future?

Today time to install the winch guard.
http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=32466
Frame had a strong twist to the torsion of the winch. At the moment it will remain unstraightened, but tje guards ar important so that the wire does not tangled.

Here too there are more and more restrictions on the possession of firearms.

Unfortunately I will never be able to have a 25lb unless I make a reproduction out of wood.
Our forces never bought British artillery in the postwar period.

But could you if one was available?

In Canada the answer would have been yes until a really crazy new regulation came down a year or so ago. The regulation targets 'assault rifles' but somehow goes after WW1 and WW2 antiques including things like 25pdrs. As if a 25prd is somehow an assault rifle. My government is loco.

I enjoy finding the missing parts and installing them. And also that it is in running order.
Maybe in another life, I'll disassemble it completely to do a new restoration.
