Hiya does anyone have one of these WW2 wooden 6 volt battery boxes for sale? They are a wooden box normally with stenciling on the front and top of the lid with dates, stating it holds a 6-volt battery. Believe they were fitted in AFVs?

Two carrying handles on either side.

Please email if you can help!!

Thanks,

Danny

Check with Peter Hommes http://www.elalamein.eu/. He received 4 plus battery boxes from me.

Are these battery boxes made out of plywood or just thin solid pieces of wood?
