Jeff, do we need to pre-book for camp sites and/or meals?

And while we've got you here, how did the Studebaker Challenge go? Didja crack the record? Pics?

Oh Bugger, it's the same week-end as the Gold Coast Indy.......

Looks like I will be leaving the Coast early Sunday Morning for the swap meet.

Hi Fellers,
Tony you don't have to book just show up at the gate.
Rod I didn't know it was the same weekend as indy you would be better off camping on site, the gold coast is a traffic hell hole at the best of times.
The Studie challenge was went allright there was 19 US6 I think there are photo's on the web site. We set the record.

Default Set the record straight

Ah yes, found the pics Here. Says 17 Studebakers, a highly commendable effort, but not the record.

Sorry Jeff, but every year I am provided with on track accomodation, passes, and my boss (god bless him) provides all the grog, food, admission etc for the Indy nightlife, god bless corporate credit cards.I will drive out of the Coast early sunday morning , probably won't go to bed Saturday night............

Besides, the boys last year let me have a play in the LAV25 & the bushmaster at the Army display......just no drivies on the tracksies..

See those of you going Sunday...

Rob

Ahh Rob, free grog, see you at 2pm. You will be the one with dark glasses holding your head!

Tony my mistake there was only 17 there
It was an official Guinness world record, Corowa wasn't and for good reason. Aparently there is too much mucking around with paperwork and having an oficial there from Guiness themselves.
I know Shane is glad it is all over and I bet he doesn't try anything like it again.
The main thing is that it was a great day!!
I think the only Guiness record made at Corowa was the Blitz?

Come and say G'day I will be the only one there (maybe) with the 2 wheel Wiles cooker.

Yeh Ian definatily,
I have not fired it up yet. You will probably hear about me in the news in the next couple of days.
"34 year old Queenslander blows himself up with a ww2 steam cooker"
No, it will be OK, I am not preasurizing the vessel just using it as an oven and cook top.
See you in three weeks,
Jeff
