01) The STORYof INGLIS (hardcover 63 pgs, several illustrations-photos,) presumably this was a promotional book by Inglis postwar showing all its production capabilities—includes a small section on ordnance- guns ships enginse etc) Inglis was a huge (!!!) Canadian operation..astounding what they made- massive boilers, portable compressors, massive pumps, huge industrial gas and pulp installations, to washing machines to camping trailers, even fishing tackle!!!…alas another Cdn mfg giant gone forever

02) COLLIER”S NEW PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORYof the WORLD’S WAR; “Photographs by the official photographers acccompanying each army- includes sketches, drawings, and paintings made by artists at the front” 1919 ((remember this was not WW1..this was the –only world war at the time, hence the title))
Actually, very few drawings, almost entirely photos. 12in x 16.5 in….fair cond only… fair because slight staining of cover, and several photos have been cut out..possibly for some student’s school project?
Nevertheless many absolutely incredibly astounding photos, surely many very rarely seen ! although it has had the “student” treatment I am always completely amazed at these photos.

03) CANADA-in WORLD WAR 11 POSTWAR POSSIBILITIES (BF Campbell) 1945 William S Boas Publishers Montreal leather-bound harcover numbered copy =#160= of limited deluxe edition
- large volume detailing most of the major companies and sevices in Canada as a promotional venture domestically and abroad as to the mfg, products and services avail in Canada.. Lists many companies naturally involved in war effort with a few war effort photos (not primarily a war effort book- more trade and commerce)
- Extremely sad to note that almost all these major Canadian firms have since disappeared.

04) The SECONG GREAT WAR- 9 volumes- 1946 -editor Sir John Hammerton, military editor Mgen Sir Charles Gwynn,; Waverly book publishers, printed by Purnell and Son
- ** I imagine this is rather rare, and more so in such exc condition.
- Many hundreds if not thousands of photos, some colour, illustrations, maps, from all empire and allied and enemy forces can easily imagine many photos have rarely been seen
- (vol 1 only shows heat damage to orig paper cover and onto hardcover
- each vol approx 400-600 pga 4076 pages total

one of an annual series (1940 mostly goods production across all of canada and in all sectors
-series provides a very interesting look at Canada of that era (exc/c)
