Default Bunyips and Trolls

Eminent author Dr Maxwell Hedges visited the Long Plain area of the snowy mountains area over the June long weekend. Dr Hedges the author of Australian best seller “Bunyips and Trolls Brothers or Cousins” was accompanied by Lady Catherine Hedges his wife and members of the Yass Antique Military Vehicle Club.

Lady Hedges had prepared a variety of Bunyip and Troll dishes in order to entice theses shy creatures in for a chat around the campfire. Due to the delicate nature of these culinary delights Dr Hedges had to forgo his Ford Blitz. The Ford has a remarkable ability to attract Bunyips and Trolls in any environment. Buy Lady Catherine is had prepared very delicate Troll food made from dozens of farm fresh eggs and insisted on transport in a coil sprung wagon.

Photo of Dr Hedges and his coil sprung wagon.

... funny story, Mark. But can you please explain “Bunyips" for non-locals and non-trolls ;-)

Greetings
Chris

Default Drop Bears

I was wondering whether the eminent Dr. Hedges saw any Drop Bears. At least there seems to be a lack of trees on the high country so that at least must have been a comfort.

As for Bunyips, Chris you might like to look here.

Rusty must have been eating his own damper again.

Sorry I couldn't make it for the trip.

Default Bunyips and Trolls Proof

Dr Maxwell Hedges set the bait on a bridge over the headwaters of the Murrimbidgee River. We left the trucks parked with women and children locked in the cabs and before long a Bunyip (or bridge troll for the europeans) emerged from his watery hide.
Look carefully at the following photo as these fellas are masters of camo.

If Rusty wasn't off in the High Country spotting Trolls and was home in front of a blazing fire and reading Unique Cars instead, he would have seen this:
