Default Canadian/Brit(!) Carrier Tool definitive thread long overdue

Calling all Fellow Carrier enthusiasts.

When will we see a definitive guide to correct carrier tools/accessories?. When I see something for sale or trade it's a case of searching various threads for clues for information on what the carrier tool is supposed to look like.

For instance spotted this today, which I think is combined spark plug, cylinder head bolt tool. It says made in Canada and has the numbering that matched the FUC-O3 parts book number for the carrier.

Was this used on CMP'S also, I assume so.

Also a pic of another spanner I have : Britool TL7274 1945 dated spanner

Kevin, that spark plug/head nut tool was also common to 1940-on civvy cars and is very common to be found as a vintage tool at swap meets, boot sales, etc.

There was an old thread on carrier tools HERE if you'd like to add to it.

Default Gunner Mike at Gracie's

A few years ago, Gunner Mike had a slide presentation at the Ottawa Rotter's semi-annual semi-irregular semi-serious meeting at Gracie O'Malley's. He had found a set of Windsor(?) carrier tools new in the grease rap. Maybe in Norway with his GMC "Deuce and a Half".

He was thorough and documented every unfolded flap of the paper. As each tool saw daylight for the first time since 194x, there was Gunner Mike taking pictures. To say he built up anticipation was an understatement. He had us enthralled wondering what gem of wartime technology was coming up next.

Gunner Mike is on this forum when he isn't teaching in other countries. He is owner/manager/mechanic/storeman at the Swords and Ploughshares Museum near Ottawa.

Aye, aye, sir, sorted!

PS: dear Kevin, I am spending all of my scarce spare time to keep things sorted on this forum, so even though I apparently made a mistake, I'd like to hear the word "please".....
