Default Carrier track link heat treatment

I hope the attachment on the carrier track link heat treatment, turns out. It may help answer the question were they or weren`t they.

Carrier track is steel. If steel isn't heat treated after casting it is as brittle as Cast Iron. Widmanstatten alpha.... ah.. I didn't forget everything they tought me then

Not 100% true, quite early on in he war, if not just before they switched from Manganese Steel to SG, I had forgotton that.
