Good News for OMVA Members
I am extremely pleased to advise all OMVA members that four long term
members have formed a fresh Non-Profit Corporation to operate the OMVA. They came forward about two weeks ago, agreed to sign on and the Incorporation has been changed to include them. This was official October 15th, the lawyer confirmed it today! I will formally announce it, and introduce them, at the Show Saturday. This will also formally conclude my association with the Club as a Director or in any capacity other than member. It's been great! (Mostly). Thanks Peter Simundson |

That sounds positive. Not up to date on operations of the Ontario group but feel free to pass on my name and contact and if there is anything I can pass on about our Western Command group or anything I would be pleased to offer my input.

Industry Canada pulled the rug out from under almost all groups and associations with new Not For Profit rules. I have been a witness to the Canadian Military Engineer Association's changes, and grudgingly agree changes were necessary. However, for many small and loosely run groups it has been tough.
