Default Ferret Fuel Tap Leakage

'Evening All,

Has anyone replaced are refitted a Ferret's fuel tap mounted next to the fuel filter? The fuel tap in our vehicle is leaking - I noticed that it leaks more noticeably when you turn the tap from one position to another and back again.

Is it worth removing the fuel tap and tearing it down to repair the leak by replacing the seal, or should I purchase a new unit?

Cheers,

Chris Preston,

Simple rebuildable part Chris. I think Bannisters and or Marcus Glenn hold cork seals or simply make your own seal.

Default Ferret Fuel Tap

Hi Chris. I rebuilt the fuel tap in my Ferret. Bought new cork seal material at Canadian Tire and cut the new gasket/seal with the use of a circle cutter and hole punch set.
Best Regards, Terry.
